Where are the rental bikes?

There is always talk of things coming to the Grove, but they never materialize. Where are the rental bikes that were talked about?

According to Spokes 'n' Folks, the City of Miami has asked vendors to bid on creating a system like Miami Beach's successful bicycle rentals. Coconut Grove is in the City of Miami, will this include us if the City get the program going?

We thought that Crispin-Porter was bringing the bikes to the Grove, we still see employees riding them around, but apparently they are only going to stay at their office and not become a rental program as we had been told.

According to statistics, most of the renters are locals using the bicycles for quick trips, so while we think tourists are taking advantage of the program, they aren't. A few bicycles in the Grove would be nice for locals. It would help the parking problem, too, more bikes, less cars.
