Making the Grove a home to techies?
Maybe some realtors like Riley Smith can get on board and do something to that affect. What? I don't know, what does that entail? Getting a bunch of techies to commit to one street or building?
The BarCamp Miami was a success a few months ago, why not make it a regular thing, too?

Would it be possible to have Grovewide free wifi - or a low price wifi option? This was something long discussed by the mayor when I lived in SF, but not sure if it ever came to fruition.
I just moved to the grove myself, walking distance to coco-walk and I'm loving it. Really close to a bunch of south Florida web developers, techies and enthusiasts.
Loving the Grove,

Miami Beach has long talked about a free wifi network but its never happened. Seems to me that it would be much more feasible for something like that to exist in Coconut Grove, a much smaller section of Miami.
I am a techie and considering a move to Coconut Grove. I would be very into the idea of establishing this type of a community. A tech co-op of sorts :) Keep me in the loop I am glad to help mherzberger@gmail.com
I think this topic deserves more exploring. How should we get the ball rolling on this?
