Grove-Key Dems Club meeting on Thursday
The Grove-Key Dems Club is meeting Thursday, June 13 at The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (3515 Douglas Road). The meeting is from 7 to 9 pm.
Two of Florida State Legislators representing the Grove and Key Biscayne will be present for the meeting. Florida Sen. Jose Javier Rodriguez and Fl House of Rep. Nicholas Duran will be part of the discussion of the state of Women’s Reproductive Rights in the wake of the recent restrictive legislation in a growing number of states.
Is Florida next? How does the legislative process to restrict women’s rights work? How can voters engage?
