American Darling Valve concert at The Barnacle

Ariele Macadangdang and Bryan Dubrow of ADV

Enjoy an evening of live entertainment by the bay during The Barnacle under Moonlight Concert Series. The Miami-based duo American Darling Valve will be performing on Saturday, March 9 from 7 to 9 pm.

American Darling Valve’s Ariele Macadangdang (voice/violin) and Bryan Dubrow began playing together in late 2016 as a creative outlet unique from their individual musical projects. Together, they created a personalized take on the singer-songwriter genre by blending elements of folk, jazz, classical, and rock. When the duo released their self titled debut EP in September of 2017, featuring five original songs, the release was met with positive reviews. UK blog For the Rabbits described it as a “hugely impressive, and mature, debut, recalling the far more established ilk of Alela Diane or Laura Veirs. This accomplished and ambitious beginning can only bode well for wherever American Darling Valve’s music is going next.”

Park in the neighborhood and use the Freebee shuttle service or stroll over to the pedestrian entrance. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for members of The Barnacle Society, $3 for children ages 6 to 9, and free for children 5 and under.

Please leave pets at home, but feel free to bring low lawn chairs and rolling coolers. Arrive early to choose the best spot to spread out a picnic blanket on the spacious front lawn and enjoy your own treats and beverages.

Purchase tickets at the gate beginning at 6 pm.

The Barnacle is located at 3485 Main Highway.
