The menu consists of appetizers, pizzas, salads & soups, pasta and risotto, fish and specialties and grilled items like beef, sausages, veal and chicken.
I hadn't had Veal scaloppine since I was a child, you know being veal and all, but that dish, on the lunch and dinner menu, is $28 and the chicken scaloppine is $18 at dinner, but the veal scaloppine is $21 at lunch.
The lunch menu is simple and light with salads, pasta and meat and fish.
There is Ravioli and linguine, penne and more, starting at $12. Branzino is $24, Salmon is $22. There is pizza, too.
The main menu seems to be dinner. You will find Carne Cruda, Caprese, Asparagi, Prosciutto & Melone and more are on the appetizer menu which go from $9 to $13 each.
Fish includes salmon, tonno, branzion and more, from $22 to $29.
Sides are $6 and include baby spinach, broccoli rabe, cannelli beans, sauteed peppers, fingerling potatoes and fried zucchini.

I was there for the soft opening and I must say that everything we tried was great and I'm not really an Italian food fan. The new Owner and Chef are friendly!
Been here every night since open. We have all shared , tasted each other's dishes , traded bites All wonderful ! Full of flavor perfectly cooked pasta, pizza , bar bites , salads , cooked to order fresh . Come enjoy
Four of us went for dinner at 9pm Saturday. Since it was raining, we joined the crowd indoors and found only a couple of tables still available on this first weekend. Two people came over at separate times to take drink orders. After they arrived, we had to flag down a waiter to take our food orders. Food was delicious--from funghi pizza, to salads, to entrees of sausage and peppers, ravioli, and the large portion of eggplant parmigiano that was actually an appetizer. Excellent poached pear for dessert. I guess the large crowd was not expected as two of the entrees were sold out. Definitely will spread the word and return.
We love walking in and dining out in the Grove, now more than ever with a few new restaurants. We had a love/hate feeling about the former Calamari Restaurant since it was so unpredictable, but the location suited us and we enjoy dining outdoors. Without hearing any reviews or comments about the new Italian restaurant in its place, Spasso, we gave it a try Friday night. When we arrived, there wasn't a hostess or restaurant staff person for a couple of minutes, so we went inside and flagged someone down to let them know we would like to have dinner and preferred a table outside. The restaurant seemed empty yet we had no menus or table service for another few minutes. By this time, we were deciding whether to stay or leave, but finally a waiter approached our table and we placed a food and drink order--and so glad we stayed. The food was delicious, fresh and presented with an appetizing appeal. We will go back again, and suggest you give it a try too for a fresh and light approach to good Italian cuisine nicely prepared with good, fresh ingredients.
