Kick-off party for Dwntwn Art Days
McCormick Place in downtown Miami will be taking part in this weekend's Dwntwn Art Days and there is a kick-off party tonight, September 19, starting at 6 pm with a VIP press conference for the Miami Downtown Arts District (MDAD). Some of the Grove artists are a big part of McCormick Place, it's really easy to get to, practically just a trip up South Miami Avenue.
The exterior venue will have a the Life Is Art VIP Bombay Sapphire Lounge accompanied by DJ’s, live music, Food Trucks, Wall Brawl, and performance artists. This event is free to the public.
Proceeds from VIP tickets benefit Life Is Art.
From 7:00 pm to midnight, McCormick Place will transform the special event venue into a Black Box Theater exhibiting award winning short films followed by a Stand-Up Comedy Show hosted by comedian Freddy Stebbins. The second and third floors are home to Fine Art Studios and the entire seventh Floor houses Eleazar Delgado Studio, all will be open to the public.
McCormick Place is located at 111 SW 3rd Street.
