They're still partying for a cause at Festidan

Festidan is Saturday, July 19 at Finnegan's River (401 SW 3rd Avenue). For a few years Fesitdan was right here in Coconut Grove, one year there was as great street party in front of The Grove Spot on Virginia street, other times it was held in Peacock Park; it's a shame this could not continue in our neighborhood.

But it's an excellent charity provider and always a lot of fun. Since 2007, Festidan has held an event once or twice a year and has raised over $20,000 for charities such as Camp Boggy Creek, ALS Recovery Fund, and Children Battling Cancer. The event format has consisted of block parties, tailgates and formal galas.
