Shake-A-Leg holds Father & Sons Bay Day

About 200 people kayaked, sailed, and took part in apple-bobbing, hot-dog-eating, and dunk-tank-splashing contests during Shake-A-Leg Miami’s first Father & Sons Community Bay Day last Sunday.

Co-sponsored by One Grove Foundation, the free event also included double water slides, fishing tournaments, father and son kayaking contests, and fatherhood role-model presentations.

Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, along with members of that city’s fire, water-safety, and police departments also showed their support by enjoying the day on the water.
