Sailfish Kickoff tournament starts this week

Each year, since 2004, the tournament has taken place here in the Grove at the start of sailfish season. So far the record of 65 teams releasing 550 sailfish in just two days has not been beaten.
The Docktail party starts the event on December 4 at 6 pm; there's an open bar and Monty's famous hors d'oeuvres. This is where the teams check in. From there, the next few days involve the tournament. Fishing officially begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday, with plenty of fishing and partying in between.
The awards ceremony is late Sunday afternoon at the final dinner.
The captains meeting, weigh-in, check-out/in, awards ceremony and dock parties will take place at Monty's.
Eligible species include Sailfish, Marlin, Spearfish, Swordfish, Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo and Kingfish.
