Grove Pumpkin patch to return this October

The Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch is coming back this October. 5 and 6. Just like last year, the event, which drew thousands, will take place in Peacock Park.

Some changes this year include one price at the door, which will entitle the entrant to participate in all the rides and interactive games. Last year it was pay as you go, but this year, it will be more economical for families.

The cost at the gate is $10 for adults; 15 for kids 2 to 13 and $3 for those under 2.

There will be the hay maze, like last year and lots of pumpkins; 5000 in fact, they upped it from 2000 last year, which sold out fast. The pumpkins of course will be for sale as well as the decorating. But all games and ride will be included in cost of admission.

A hay ride will be added this year. And they will offer lots of pumpkin featured food items along with regular fair food, which will feature local vendors.

Here's a look at last year's event.
