All-Grove Crime Watch Meeting tonight
The All-Grove Crime Watch Meeting is tonight, Wednesday, August 14 at 7 pm
St. Stephen's Church is the location, in the Great Room located at the rear of the church grounds.
Meet with Grove residents, our new police Commander Morales and other Grove District police, State Attorney Representatives and others to discuss recent crimes and how best to prevent future crime.
Parking is free in the surface lot next to the church grounds. Let the parking attendant know you are there for the crime watch meeting.

I saw this too late to attend. I would like to go to these from time to time. Is there an email notification or some other way to find out about these in advance? Are they usually on the 2nd Wednesday of the month?

Yes, it's usually the 2nd Wednesday, but not always, so I usually wait for their email to come and this one only arrived this morning, that is why I posted it this morning.

I also saw this belatedly...FYI, there have been several bicycle thefts from the Fairview/Bayshore Lane neighborhood. Quite brazen, hopping over the fence and taking 4 bikes the first night and returning to take 2 bikes the following night. Thefts occurred around 4 AM. The condo (Bellavista) has video images of the guy.
