Village Council to meet Thursday at Sailing Club

The Village Council meets tomorrow, Thursday, August 2 at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club (2990 S. Bayshore Drive). 7 to 9 pm.

Burn Notice is up for discussion as one of the agenda items. It should be interesting to see the Village Council's take on the eviction of Burn Notice from the Expo Center. For those of you interested, why not show up and let your feelings be heard.

Also on the agenda:

Introduction of Carl Temper, the new BID Executive Director, Carl is a very cool guy, liked by everyone.

Police Commander Richard Gentry will give a police/crime update.

And there are a few smaller items on the agenda. I think Burn Notice and the Police Commander report are two great reasons to show up.
