Gary Ciuca

Gary will be missed in our Coconut Grove community. He lived in the Grove and worked with Wells Fargo Advisors as a financial advisor in the Gables market. For those that do not know him, Gary had been involved with the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce for many years as a board member, Co-chair of the Taste of the Grove and his last position was Vice President of the Chamber.

He was the recipient of the Chamber President's Award in 2008 which was presented by Liliana Dones. He was also on the board of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival and founded the culinary pavilion for the Arts Festival. Recently, he was involved with the Village of Center Grove.

Gary was very active with all issues dealing with Coconut Grove and worked closely with local City officials. He was also a graduate from Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute.

He will be sorely missed. We wish his family our most sincere sympathy. We will share more information regarding any funeral arrangements when they are available.
