Happy Hour for a Cause at Sandbar Grill
People in Crisis United, who raise funds for the Holtz Children's Hospital at Jackson Memorial Hospital are having a fundraiser at the Sandbar Grill (3064 Grand Avenue) on Tuesday February 8 from 6 to 9 pm. It's a Happy Hour for a Cause.
Your $10 donation at the door will entitle you to extended Happy Hour prices. All money raised at the door goes to People in Crisis United.
Their mission is to treat the non-medical holistic and palliative needs of the kids and families being treated at Holtz. They do this by providing monthly family dinners, arts and crafts activities, make a wish type of activities, and field trips to local events. They are also working with the hospital to establish a music and pet therapy program.
There's a live band that night and it should be lots of fun, with a great cause benefiting.
