Eclectic mix of musicians are part of Gallery Walk
During the First Saturday Gallery Walk, there is more than art, there is a lot of music and there is all kinds. There are hard rock bands and classical music at the Mayfair Promenade (the hard rock is part of the Art Stroll, the classical is provided by the Miami Conservatory of Music) and as you move around the Grove, you'll see many other styles of live music. A harpest in front of the Bookstore may something else you can enjoy and we ran into Danny Yucra playing the cello right in the center of town.
Danny is a student at Coral Reef High, who had a sign saying he was playing to raise money for tuition for Julliard. He was excellent and drew a large crowd of admirers.
Not too far away were the Sunshine Stompers who played a little bit of everything.
As you move around the Grove, you can hear it all. It's really enjoyable.
At Artway66, Edgardo Santiago, left and Sergio Garcia, from the Lighthouse for the Blind, entertained the art goers. Edgardo sings, too.
A high school band jammed in front of another gallery, someone played a piano at another, a duo played soft rock at another and so on. It's really a nice thing as you stroll the Grove for Gallery Walk.
