Mad Men Monday or Monday Night Football?

Mad Men Monday sometimes has many people and sometimes just a few. Last Monday there were only three of us, but we had a good time. It was Lili, Kathy and me.

I don't remember what we talked about, but it wasn't Mad Men. We never really talk about Mad Men, except the one week when Lili told Harry what happened in the episode the night before, word for word, but it's usually not about that.

We are thinking of making it Monday Night Football night, because they do show the game on the tv, but Mad Men Monday Happy Hour is usually over by that time anyway. So it can be both, Mad Men Monday and Monday Night Football.

There are only a couple more weeks of Mad Men season four, so we probably won't have Mad Men Monday's until the new season starts next summer, I guess. Besides, the Lobby Bar at the Mayfair is now in the process of being turned into a Trattoria. We were offered the pool bar on the roof, but it's not the same.

I was at the Mayfair on Friday night for Barry Alberts' Wine Tasting. I went to the hotel's front desk to ask them something and when I turned around, I didn't know where I was, I was disoriented, because there is a big black wall blocking off the lobby bar, so it just didn't look familiar. It was weird. Anyway, the whole point of this is to say that Mad Men Monday will be back next season. But if we decide to have a few drinks at the pool on the roof, we'll let you know and you can join us.
