Coconut Grove galleries are ready for Gallery Walk
Alfredo Gonzalez Alvarez (Alva) brought his paintings into the Windisch-Hunt Gallery yesterday. He's a hyper-realist. His art is from a vantage point of sitting in a car. The piece he is hold is called "Lejeune Electra," an image of a Buick Electra on LeJeune Road and Grand Avenue. The art is being installed for this weekend's premier of "Car Culture" at the gallery. All media styles were accepted and all art had to be automotive-related. The Windisch-Hunt Gallery will be offering refreshments and music at the "Car Culture" opening, this Saturday, October 2, as part of Coconut Grove's Gallery Walk night.
The season is kicking in and all the galleries have new art to present. The galleries all provide food, drink and art, lots of art.
