Special events coming up at Zen Village
Zen Village (3570 Main Highway) has a four part, What is Buddhism? lecture series starting this week. Learn about the history, the development of the different schools, and their own essential practices.This lecture series starts this Tuesday, November 10, and runs as follows: November 10, 12, 17 and 19, from 7 to 8:30 pm each night.
On Thanksgiving week, the following classes are happening:
Wednesday 11/25 - Amhitaba Empowerment, from 7 to 10 pm
Thursday 11/26 - Avalokishraya Empowerment, from 1 to 4 pm
Sunday 11/29 - Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche Public Talk at 10 am
Thursday 11/26, 8 pm to Sunday 11/29, 8 am : Thanksgiving Night Nunei Retreat led by Ani Karuna from KTD Monastery
The Amhitaba and Avalokishraya Empowerment , as well as the Public Talk will all be guided by Khenpo Kharthar Rinpoche, world renowned Tibetan Buddhist and Senior Retreat Master.
