A&M hosts College Fair Day
The Academy of Arts and Minds Charter High School (A&M) on Commodore Plaza, had its very first College Fair last week. Ninth graders Elizabeth Danielle Pujadas and Kristen Taylor Chi already thinking about college with CAP advisor Jamie Zucker.
Twenty top notch institutions attended at the invitation of A&M Director William Machado and College Assistant Program advisor Ms. Jamie Zucker. The two-session lunch time event was highly successful and allowed all grade levels to mix, meet and talk with individual college representatives. Visiting personnel re-emphasized the importance of the student's grade point average and strength of curriculum.
