Hat making party for Mad Hatter Festival

The Mad Hatter Arts Festival is coming up fast -- the Alice in Wonderland art event will take place Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15.

Mad Hatter committee members will be randomly handing out Grove Bucks all day to those who have the best hats. Grove Bucks were used on 4th of July as prizes.

And to help with that, there will be a hat making party at the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue), sort of like the coconut painting that was done this past summer for the Coconut Scavenger Hunt, but in this case, it is hats and you'll be making your own.)

The Hat Making Party is Thursday, November 12 at 7 pm. There will be wine and nibblie things. Bring your own glue guns if you have them and anything that you would like to use on the hat: paint, feathers, ribbons, cardboard, glitter, whatever.
