The Grove is Ibis country!
We may have to change our village mascot, the peacock, to the ibis!The UM Hurricanes must be pretty proud of themselves this morning. They were of course very successful in this weekend's Bed Race and to top it off, they won the big game last night against FSU, 38 to 34.
Congrats UM! I know many of the fans enjoyed the game all over the Grove last night from the Sandbar Grill (winning bed) to Mr. Moe's and all places in between. We love having the UM crowd here, hope they start the shuttle up again real soon!

The celebration in the Grove could be heard from blocks away!!! What a win - the stadium was a sea of garnet...
The UM grove shuttle will return Sept. 24th and run Thursdays through Saturdays from 9pm-2am

The Grove decided against the college crowd when it sided with the curmudgeons and installed the early bar closings.
Anon 11:25 - the grove didn't decide against. Marc Sarnoff alone decided against it, and tricked a few other commissioners in regard to the meaning of the ordinace they were passing.
Sadly 2 commissioners admitted to not understanding what they had passed, thinking that it would not affect places that served food, such as christabelles, Moes, Greenstreet, etc. Worst of all, one such older confused gentlemen, thinks he has the capacity to be mayor.
