Coconut Scavenger Hunt is part of July 4th celebration

AnnaMaria and myself are in charge of the rules and applications for the Great Grove Bed Race, now we are both in charge of the rules for the Coconut Scavenger Hunt which will occur during the Grove's 4th of July celebration.

The ironic part is that neither of us is big on following rules, but I guess they feel we are better at dishing them out.

AnnaMaria showed up at the 4th of July meeting last week with coconuts in hand, to show what they will look like. They'll be painted coconuts. That's Steve Licata and Richard Issa, behind him at the meeting.

Anyway, the Coconut Scavenger Hunt will take place for 45 minutes at some point during the 4th of July celebration. The contestants will be required to bring three coconuts, found throughout the Grove to a finishing point in order to win prizes, most likely free coupons to be used in Grove stores and restaurants. There will be more than one winner, in fact, anyone who finds three coconuts in the allotted time will win.

Hmm, guess we just completed the rules.

There will be a coconut painting party announced in the near future, where anyone is welcome to come by and decorate the coconuts for the contest. A lot of people are expected. A lot of coconuts are needed.
