Is the Metrorail station becoming a homeless hangout?
They feel that the station is now a haven for criminals and drug dealings. Drug users hang out and deal on the spot. There is graffiti all over, too. It's not so much that Metrorail is literally bringing people in on the train, it's just that the station has become a hangout for what neighbors feel are troublemakers. Story here.

I have definitely seen some shady looking people hanging out there. There's one's man who probably weighs 400 pounds who literally lounges there all day. I have also seen derelicts with rough-looking dogs (pitbulls and the like) openly drinking beer there. One morning I saw a couple of patrol cars move in so at least the city is trying to do something about what these people are doing at a public train station.
I too see the big guy there regularly. The fact is he seems like a sad case, so it's hard to begrudge whatever tranquility he finds in a public place.
What happen to Channel 10 when we had the fabulous outrageous Bike Miami Day?
Seen the big guy wash his clothes on the otherside where the shops are. Long before
most of us are out of bed to save some of his dignity.
