You can teach an old dog new tricks
Animal Planet was at Barracuda Raw Bar and Grill (3035 Fuller Street) yesterday filming this pooch, Steve, an English Bull Dog, along with James Barnett (a Grovite and UM Grad). They were training Steve to serve draft beer. That's Tina Cornely and her daughter Kirsten, friends of Steve and James.
Tina is in orange to celebrate her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, whose birthday was yesterday. We celebrated the queen on Bike Day last weekend, with all the orange shirts.

This may be taking "a hair of the dog" a little too far.
I love that place! It has the old grove feel and they really take care of the locals. it is the new Taurus!
Love the 'cuda. it's real feel. It's not fake or fashioned like so much of the grove, but truly a place where you feel welcome and run into so many familiar faces. It's the Cheers of coconut grove.
