This is why they don't want the Segways in the bed race

I was taken aback when I saw Frank, one of the security guards from Mayfair, scooting around on his Segway with the broken arm.

He didn't hurt it on the Segway, but it reminded me that someone else asked if I could get Segway races in on the day of the Bed Race this year.

There is the bed race and waiter races that day and they thought that maybe the Segways would work, too.

But I was told it would be too dangerous and as Frank went by, I had to comment and ask if he fell off the thing.

He said no, it happened another way. But it looks so funny with him zipping around Mayfair on the Segway with the broken arm.

I swear, I love people, but good God this man needs to lose some weight as in walk. You want to see what's wrong with America and many other parts of the world?

Excuse me. Minimun wage job, no walk, electrical machine, broke arm? What started out to taxpayers was what, $7.56 an hour to guard against what? I mean who wants to rob someone at Mayfair as if someone at Mayfair had some bucks worth robbing. That part of America is long gone.

It's interesting how a couple of comments can be so different, yet both completely stupid.

Yes, isn't it completely stupid that so many kids are obese, as are their parents, that people are dying early, get cancers and have heart conditions due to excessive eating and with Obama wanting to initiate universal health care to help cure this very serious disease at taxpayers expense, what with 4/5 & 6 year old children being pushed around in baby carriages, along with some fat dog in the bottom and here this man is on wheels rather than get some exercise. Frankly, makes me sick to my stomach. It not that I dislike fat people, rather, it's just a stupid habit.

Perhaps you deem it "stupid," but the comments section of this particular post is not the place to stand on your soapbox. Move along please.

Better to be on a soap box exposing health than breaking the soap box and bouncing about.
