It's Calamari's Italian Seafood

The new place taking over Sammy C's old spot is called Calamari's Italian Seafood, not Carpacio Grove, as we stated here.

I'm not so sure if I like the name Calamari's. I love calamari, but many people don't and that may put a damper on it psychologically for those who don't like calamari.

But let's see, we hope they are here to stay.

I do wish I had the banner and sign business for that location, though. In this terrible economy, they seem to be doing pretty well with all the business they get from there making grand opening and closing signs.

I'll be there tonight for the King Mango Strut party while it's still Sammy C's.

Grape is it the Villagio Carpaciio people? If it's not then this news is a bummer.

What's with all the Italians?
We've had Marcanio's, Cefalo's, Sammy C's and now Calamari's, all in the course of a couple of years.

If Calamari's is a serious fish place in the Grove then it is welcomed.

I drove past there on my way home yesterday.

The bottom of the banner lists Villagio, Rosalia, etc.

That's good news! Those guys run restaurants with good food, good prices, good portions, etc.
