"Waterfront as Backyards" issue is deferred by PAB

The Planning Advisory Board (PAB) has deferred the Waterfront as Backyards issue tonight at their meeting. The issue will be brought up again at the next meeting (March 18).

The Board smells something funny here and while the City Administrator says this has nothing to do with Grove Harbour Marina project, most don't believe that.

Residents feel that there is too much back room dealing going on here. Most do not want an office building on the waterfront. Various boards and councils have all agreed on this.

yeah, it was a pathetic, almost burlesque show at City Hall last night.. PAB had no clue of what they were talking about.. Waterfront/Zoning "clarifications" "charters".. blah, blah,,where/how and especially WHY and by WHOM??... Who wants that? Smells very fishy,, that familiar, distinctive stench emanating from the coveted, dubious hand of Cement City & Associates, at play again, trying to pull all kinds of tricks out of the bag to favor developpers like the Grove Harbour Marina and its infamous Office Buillding right by our scarce WaterFront... shame on them.
