Things are getting interesting. How many deferments have there been already?

They'll keep deferring it till they think no ones gonna show up to a meeting to complain about it, then they'll sneek the approval in somehow behind everyone's back.
Nobody in the Grove would probably know about it if it wasn't for the Grapevine. Keep up the good work.
Agreed, but isn't it true that even if 27,263 people showed up and voiced disapproval and 2 people supported this construction the commission could still vote for construction?
Funny how the promoters of these boondoggles always seem to get as many deferments as they want (with the result being, as Anon says, that the outlast the opposition), but the residents who oppose them are routinely refused simple procedural requests.
The Grove Harbor attorney obviously has something fishy up his/her sleeve. Did they provide a REASON for the deferal?
Why doesn't Mr.Sarnoff just step in, and say:
"No Office Building in our Waterfront, period. 50' set back from the bay, that's the alw. End of story. Next item."
Heavy-Duty Money Interests and Lobbying at play, of course.
