I wonder if W will visit

Jeb Bush, our ex Gov has been looking at condos next door to me in the North Grove. He seems like a nice guy, I saw him at Starbucks once and he was very down to earth and friendly.

Grape, you know that you will be run out of the Grove on a rail, and your 33133 secret decoder ring will be confiscated, for saying nice things about a Republican, don't you?

W will only visit Miami when the city is a nuclear pile of smolder courtesy of Islamofacist.

He will have only 4 words to utter to the citizenry that remain, "I TOLD YOU SO"

Jeb is actually really cool down to earth guy.
He always walked around tally with his sleeves rolled up and always talked to anyone who walked by.

Have seen him at Greenstreets a couple of times. The one you have to worry about is Blago - when he starts checking out the neighborhood we are in trouble. But think there is a different kind of BIG HOUSE in his future.

Jeb Bush, why of course he walks around the Grove he owned the corner of Bird Ave. and Allamanda St. of course that was when it was still the Grove with trees. You wouldn't recognize the corner now. Wonder how many other properties his co. owned and converted in the center Grove.
Give me a break.

Personally I see nothing wrong with the Mac Mansions and I know I'm in the minority. Does create high density, but so far the traffic isn't all that bad. What looks bad are all those cars parked on the swale right of ways every night. Most are solid construction and will break the wind from hurricanes for those of us who own the old one story homes. Some tiles might break a window, but that's a small price to pay for a solid wind break.

I don't think the traffic or the construction materials (tiles) are the real issues with Mac Mansions. I have lived in North Grove my entire life & I cant see any of my neighbors windows or walls (because they are more than 5 ft away & there's enough space to plant large foliage). I think the other problem is it takes charm away form the Grove, each Mac Mansion is cement & looks just like the other 2 or 3 right next door to it. It makes the Grove look like Doral... or Kendall! eww!

All of you are right and each opinion is valid. I've watched the various phases of construction having renovated many homes around the Grove. My main point is these units are constructed extremely strong and yes, they are obviously very similar. If you purchase one at todays cost I would say you'll getting a great home at a reasonable price and very little yard space if you purchase in Center Grove or West of Douglas
