City Commission to vote on Grove Harbour Marina project

The Grove Harbour Marina proposed building on the waterfront is being heard Thursday, January 29, by the City Commission. It is number 2 in the PZ agenda. Grove residents are asked to be there before 10 am. Let your voices be heard. This is at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive).

Unfortunately, our district Commissioner, Marc Sarnoff will not be present. It is unfortunate that every time this thing comes up, Mr. Sarnoff is not present. Hopefully it will be deferred again if not just plain out rejected.

Let the Mayor and Commissioners know how you feel. They may be reached here:

If Commissioner Sarnoff cannot be there, can he give his proxy to another? Is there a mechanism to handle absences?

Does Miami need a mayor who is not present at meetings? I think that any candidate aspiring to higher office would want to demonstrate effectiveness at the current level.
