The Travel Channel likes Coconut Grove
Some folks from the Travel Channel were here this weekend, filming small "Grove scenes" for a new project. I was appointed liaison. I showed them the "real Grove." Well, I did keep some Grove family secrets. But actually I pointed them in the interesting directions.
They were very into the art scene and wanted info on that, which I found very cool. I took them to a couple of galleries and they enjoyed seeing some artists on the streets participating in the GroveHouse "Paint Out." They also wanted to see the Cabana One pool at the Mayfair Hotel and they really enjoyed The Bookstore since it was our own one-of-a-kind and not a chain store.
I was very pleased and proud to show them around.
