Things that make you go hmmmm
Today there is an invitation only charity event going on at the Expo Center.
My question is this: Why is the Expo Center considered decrepit, dangerous and a firetrap, so much so that Michael Westen and his "Burn Notice" crew are being asked to vacate but it is safe enough for thousands of school children to party in?
As you can see, they were there early lining up for the festivities INSIDE as well as outside. What's up with that?

Sounds to me like there are some pretty big hypocrites running this city.
Aht??? I can't believe they held a function there - and didn't publicize it. What is going on here? Did the charity event pay money to rent it; is it available to other people; c'mon City Hall - you are talking out of both sides of your mouth!
All the while they are saying the building is not safe, they are secretly arranging for events there. It is a case of don't listen to what I say, but watch what I do. If it is good enough for children and their parents, it is good enough for continued filming. We need that more than park space we can't afford to maintain. Send the park goers to Peacock and Kenny Meyers Parks - no one ever goes there. When is the last time you saw a family picnicking or throwing a frisbee at Kenny Meyers Park?
From what I understand, the expo center needs a new roof ($4million) which is why its suppose to be off limits. They claim its too expensive to fix, and so extensive that no one (Burn Notice) shouldn't be allowed inside, and yet they allow children inside. Can you say accident/trouble/problem/lawsuit!!!
