Post office issues discussed
Many are not happy with the way the job turned out in the parking lot. The goal is more trees, less signs.
Graffiti was an issue, too. But the post office feels it is cleaned up as soon as possible.
Some wanted the drive thru to be open after hours, but they were told that it was never part of the plan and the drive thru will be locked at night along with the rest of the parking lot.
Mr. Coppola said he is new to the district but has lots of post offices that are in worse shape, he understands the concerns and plans to remove some of the signs and will try to make the Grove post office as good as possible considering the tight budgets.

I have an idea about the tight budget, keep the parking lot open after hours and allow Grove visitors park there until, they can charge a $1 per hour or anything reasonable, that will create revenue. They can hire a couple of enterprising local kids to run the place, that will create jobs, in this economy it will be a noble act. Then open the lobby so that the new Automated Postal Center can be used around the clock, other post offices do that, so people can weigh, mail, registered, certified, parcel post their package any time, that is going to create revenues as well, guaranteed. Now if creating efficiency is an impediment to the running of government business then ignore all this comment.
