Still looking for last minute gifts?
I got a couple of gift certificates for a couple of nice Grove restaurants as Christmas gifts. That's a great idea for last minute gifts.
If you are still not finished shopping today, that may be your best bet. You can name your price and send a loved one to one of our fine restaurants here in the Grove. For someone that lives outside the Grove, it's a great gift, you are not only giving the meal, you are giving them a day or night in the Grove -- the whole ambiance thing from the restaurants to the streets and shops.
I ran into my neighbor Bobbie at The Bookstore. I was actually there searching for gifts for a few of my neighbors. That's another great place to find one-of-a-kind last minute things. Bobbie was actually looking for Hanukkah candles and they had them! And she bought a few dradles and other Hanukkah items.
If you search around, The Bookstore has everything in the way of gift giving. Someone told me yesterday they have about 25 or 28 greeting card racks, too.
