They want green jobs, when do they want them? Now!
The rally was held in Peacock Park this morning in an effort to bring attention to environmental problems. The main focus seemed to be the concept of bringing green jobs to Florida now.
The big inflated globe brought many people to the park to hear speakers, including Congressman Ron Klein, Kendrick Meek, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, State Representative Oscar Braynon II. That's me with the whole world in my hands.
I was with Harry, who brought up a very interesting issue -- the globe they used seemed to be earth after global warming. Florida is barely there and Cuba and the Caribbean islands are totally under water.

Federal law, the EPA and the clean water act state no more cement, asphalt or brick driveways that impede rainwater from seeping into the aquifer; or a fee will be assessed for each square foot covered to construct a rain water run-off in storm drains. Yet the City of Miami is fining an artist $1,000.00, weekly for parking on unimproved (natural) land that he configured to filter rain water run off and remove pollutants. Where is the "Green" movement at Miami City Hall?
