Ask and ye shall receive

Guess it pays to blog, I asked for home made chicken soup and I got it.

My next door neighbor, Denise, brought a whole pot of soup over for me last night. I don't know if she read the blog about me wanting the soup or if she just did it because she knew I was sick. I think the latter.

That's funny to say "latter" because that is how she ends her emails, she says "latter" with a smile, I don't know if she is trying to spell "later" or if she thinks "latter" is funny, but it does always make me smile.

Speaking of asking for things and getting them, I am now going to put this out into the Universe: Please hurricane Ike go away. Go up north into the Atlantic and don't hurt any people or land. Let's see if that works.
