Bring in the Green party candidates to the Grove. Candidate Mckinney & Clemente 2008 ticket embodies all the brouhaha of this year´s presidential election: the green ticket is all woman and all black but most important and relevant issue is their environmental stance. Of course they will lose, but I would rather vote for a sure loser than sell all my principles to the monopoly of Dems and Reps. As the great George Carlin said roughly: they want to create an illusion of choice. We need to vote for as many Greens as possible at local, state and federal level in order to get some level of voice heard reflecting the people´s environmental conserns, not the packaged stuff the Republicans and Democrats force feed us to steal our trust.

The Greens have become prisoner to a bunch of proto-communists. Extreme environmentalism actually serves as a pretty neat cover for wanting to destroy your property rights and your standard of living.

McCain/Palin '08, baby!

Agreed, I am voting for Greens not because of their socialist stance and their extremist feminist stance but for their environmental advocacy which IMHO is worth by far more than the Rep´s and Dem´s morally bankrupt special interests base. The Green agenda is non existant in our policies and representation and it is time the people´s Green side is heard at every level.

Republicans in this community? Who knew?

Nice to know there is actually a counter-culture in the Grove.

PS Let's plan to meet under the bleachers at Peacock Park to avoid the torches and pitchforks!
