They move fast when they want to

stop
Here's what the intersection at Tigertail and Crystal Court looks like now. They have added the little median curbs and it looks like there is a full stop, but on the Tigertail side. Shouldn't the stop be on Crystal Court side street?

I swear, some politician or big shot lives on Crystal Court. I am going to find out who it is. Another "government worker" no doubt.

The city is putting more and more stupid stop signs all over the place. We have several in the gables that just don't make sense.

Citizen power... go out one night and take the stop sign out and put it where it belongs, in the trash

These traffic circles on Tigertail have been in the works for over 5 years. Just ask the residents or the homeowners group.

And what about the red light at Mc Fairlane St, by that bogus parking lot that's always empty, in front of Flavor. Who came up with that brilliant idea? They sure don't live in the Grove.. not only it was a waste of money and serves no purpose, it stops the traffic where there is none.

Can anyone explain that red light to me? To slow down the traffic before the curve onto Bayshore Drive?

To the writter above me, first the light is on Mcfarlane Road. Second it is not in front Flavor, but more important it is in front of the Sonesta Hotel Condo. As a resident we are glad it is there to give us a chance to cross Mcfarlane Road. The only problem is that many drivers in the Miami spirit just blow right through the red light without even seeing it!! We cross in the crosswalk with care always looking. The Police have been alerted and have chased down these drivers. The 211 owners in our building are really glad we have this light.

The only people of importance that live on Crystal Court are the taxpayers. This was an effort by local residents to calm traffic on Tigertail.

Whoever thinks there is no traffic on Tigertail except at rush hour obviously does not live on Tigettail. 18 wheelers barrel down Tigertail all day long and I know because I live on Tigertail.

I personally have had 3 trees split or broken off because of these huge trucks. Once I found lying on my swale something resembling a smokestack that had been snapped off an 18 wheeler. It was almost 5 feet high and I had to get a dolly to move it because I couldn't lift it. Big truck blast down Tigertail all day long, except on Sunday.

Every evening traffic backs up from 22 Ave to Coacoochee waiting to go thru that intersection. And by the way NO ONE stops at the stop sign on Tigertail and Crystal on the Tigertail side. I think the signs were erected to alert drivers that something new is there other wise they'd rip right over the medians and probably flip their trucks.

If you want to complain about something why don't you look into the proposed traffic circle on 27th Ave and Tigertail. Now that's going to be interesting.
