Live theater returns to the Grove
The play is a charming farce from the 17th Century Baroque period. In luring Dorimene the beautiful marquis, Monsieur Jordain hires an entourage of musicians, dancers, a philosopher and a fencing teacher who will instruct him on "how to behave in front of quality people." Dorante, his best friend, also in pursuit of the marquis, will try to stop the course of Jourdain's intentions.
This new adaptation of Moliere’s “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme” (The Bourgoise Gentleman), is directed by Larry Villanueva. It runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 6, 7 and 8 at 8 pm. Tickets are $15.00 and may be purchased at the door or you may order by calling 305-448-1100, ext. 7.

So, let's see how many of those who moaned about the disappearance of the CG Playhouse actually go see this play
I saw it. It's really funny but very short. 45 minutes at most. Support A&M and come see our students act!!!

My wife Rocio and I went to see this amusing play by very talented young people on Saturday night. Unfortunately, we were 2/3 of the audience, there being only one other gentleman in the crowd. To bad...the young actors techs did a great job with the performance...Bravo to them.
