yep, those booths are almost laughable and waste of money> I've been living a few blocks away from them in the Grove for several years and I've never seen a person inside to help in anyway.
All they do is block our sidewalks for running, biking, walking the dogs, unless knowledgeable locals on the cheap really populate these weird booths. And they do help the police until late hours, so they would have to be security guards with a gun, I suppose. And then paint the freaking black steel tents into some other colors, sell incense or flowers, or just get rid of them
I just watched Hogan's Heros on tv. The booths remind me of those nazi booths. They are ugly and do nothing to enhance the Grove.
I read the New Times article. Good job, Mr. Grapvine.
I would like to know why Marc Sarnoff was unavailable for comment. Come on, we know he won't accept credit for Sarnoff Circle anymore, but these Kiosks are really his. And like Sarnoff Circle, they are awful!
Is Mr. Sarnoff now just completely unaccountable?
THEY OPEN AT 4PM??? Cruise ship Passengers have to be at the Port before 3PM as most ships sail out by 4PM... genious!
