"Sundays in the Grove" starts today
Today is the inaugural "Sundays in the Grove." The weather is perfect for it, too. Sundays in the Grove is the first Sunday of each month.CocoWalk and the Streets of Mayfair will be offering live music from 11 am to 2 pm, and there will be arts and crafts on display and lots of things to do. The music will range from jazz, blues and acoustic -- a nice thing to accompany your brunch or lunch at your favorite Grove restaurant. Visit Café Tu Tu Tango -- they need you; share an appetizer, have a drink, buy some art, just stop by and support them if you can.
Next Saturday, May 10, in Peacock Park is Jazz By the Bay. Performers include Johnny Gill, Taylor Dayne, The Manhattans and more. Admission is free. We'll publish a poster of the event later this week.

Our people have been complaining about panhandlers...
I'm putting out a heads-up for the guy in black in the picture. From my own personal experience, he is a non-desirable character. He's back in town - the cat who always comes back.
