Tu Tu Tango to close in three weeks
I had mentioned this awhile back, that there were structural problems on the upper floors at CocoWalk. I was told a lot of the damage was the result of Hurricane Wilma.
Let's hope something can be done. Perhaps if we actually show up and patronize the place it would encourage the owner into keeping it going, but maybe in another Grove location.
Below are bartenders Shaneka Murray and Judy Channing.
And then there is lovely Violetta, the Flamenco Dancer.
And when the Brazilian dancers come out, watch out!
It gets tu tu wild at Tu Tu Tango.

How about Cocowalk fixing the damage? What an idea! We can't lose this place. Somebody call the Manager at Cocowalk and ask them to do something. 444-0777 x12
I think it is despicable how the rents are so high that no one can survive. A show dog can't even make it.
I had a good time at the fashion show tonight.

How many more places must close before something is done to reverse this trend? How many more meetings and committees must be held? Another small piece of the Grove dies as we watch and wonder, where will it end?

Thank goodness they want to develop six blocks of the west grove. We really need more empty overpriced spaces.
Oh hell NO. This is awful news - that's one of the best restaurants in the Grove! What a sad, sad loss...

Wow... I cant believe this news. I really enjoy Tu Tu Tango and it would be a shame to have such a fun place close its doors. I always felt Tu Tu Tango captured the essence of the Grove very well. When I have visitors in town, thats usually the 1st place I take them to have a cocktail and a bite while sitting outside and looking down on the hustle and bustle going on in the Grove.
I always thought they were still getting good traffic there. I guess I was wrong. Hopefully things change and TTT stays.
We, some fellows from Germany love to enjoy the first nights in orlando at tutus over years. Don`t close this wonderful place.
How big is the gap? Let me know.
