Everyone's in the Grove today, everyone
I got lunch to go at Somoto, only to have it be ice cold by the time I got home. I did see something great though, Freddie the Fabulous Flamingo decided to return to his roost and is back where he belongs in front of CocoWalk.
Note to drivers: Avoid the CBD today, traffic is backed up from South Bayshore Drive, all up McFarlane to Main Highway and Grand Avenue. Park on the outskirts and walk in.

Thanks for the tip Grape Man. You really ought to try out Siam Oshi for sushi sometime. Way better than Somoto. Then again, if your meal was "cold" by the time you got home, you probably didnt get sushi anyways...
BTW, after the virtual hump-fest on this blog concerning the new bookstore, I actually headed over to check it out. The lowlights were that the books arent really too organized which makes it tough if you are not searching for a specific book that they can just look up for you. I also was a bit turned off when someone offered to help me then decided to do other things instead only to realize she had forgotten to help. The highlights were that I liked the little cafe area with the empanadas, etc. I also was able to get gifts for 5 people there and spent a little over $100, which I couldnt believe haha. The final highlight was that not only were there a few cute chicks working there, there were about 4-5 HOT chicks sitting in the cafe/lounge! These werent your typical college drunk chicks that dress like whores either. Im talking edjamacated wimmins! That blew my mind and I may have to go back sometime for an empanada cuz those looked good.
The bookstore was rushed to get open for the holidays and opened the day after Thanksgiving. With only a month under their belt, they are doing an incredible job. If you have any lowlights, feel free to talk to the owners; they are very friendly and would be more than willing to listen. Thanks for supporting the book store. Their gifts are very unique also.
