Tacos and Crepes gone
Looks like another biz bit the dust: Tacos and Crepes Land is closed.
Not sure how a business on Main Highway fails, maybe the rents again. Maybe those crepes weren't that good. I did like the tacos and burritos.

Dammit! I never got to go to T&C Land... I went to A&S Tacomania and I thought it was good, but alas, no crepe land for me... I bet the Crepe Maker across the street hired some goons to shake em down.
Maybe it was because they forgot to change their sign, and people were just expecting the same bland and gross tacos and burritos they've come to expect from A&S.
Maybe it's because tacos and crepes belong on that commercial about the two things that don't belong together.
You didn't have to be a vulcher to see that the place was dying, the minute they added crepes. It's like a pizza joint adding sushi to their menu, stupid.
That said, I still feel sorry for them. The owner of that building has got to be the absolute worst landlord in the grove. I have come to know quite a few of his tenants over the years and they all say the same thing, "the rents are so high that they are crippled from being able to further invest in their businesses."
Moreover, that explains why his turnover is so high amd the quality of his tenants, so poor.
