It's getting harder to drive through town
Part of CocoWalk will be coming down soon, the section next to Virginia street and to that end, Virginia Street will become one southbound lane only from Oak to Grand Avenue. That means, you can enter Grand Avenue from Virginia, but you cannot turn north on Virginia heading into the neighborhoods.
At Florida Avenue only a left turn onto Virginia will be allowed and a right torn only onto Grand from Virginia will be permitted.
Oak Avenue remains eastbound only due to the garage contruction near Tigertail.
There is no start date for the CocoWalk demolition, but it should be soon and of course we'll bring that news to you when it happens.
That section of CocoWalk will become an office building. Details here.

At some point, the Grove needs to consider turning Main Highway into one-way south-bound and Grand Avenue one-way north-bound. That is how many cities have solved their bottleneck, parking and transit corridor projects. It seems overdue to talk about.
Then there is also The Arbor at 3034 Oak St. which has not yet started construction. Feel sorry for the residents and businesses in these areas as the developers seem to get permits to work 27/7. The dirt and noise pollution will be unbearable.
Why don't we the people who live in The Grove have anything to say about what is happening here. All I hear are complaints but then our representatives (we have no one who represents the residents!} Don't get it.

Love the idea of making Main and Grand one way streets. Will do a lot to improve quality of life, walkability, and village vibe.
