Summer music camps enrolling now

The Miami Concervatory of Music (MCM) has groups forming for summer music camp for kids ages 5-12.

This is perfect for children with no musical background and for those who are already involved. There are two camps for the summer of 2018: 

Session One
- June 11-22 with a one week session available from June 11-15

Session Two
 - July 23-27

Hours are from 9:30 am to 4 pm (drop-off 9-9:30 am, dismissal 4-4:30 pm).

For children with no musical background MCM features "Music Discovery" where they will enjoy hands on opportunities to explore a variety of instruments like piano, guitar, violin, voice and percussion with the guidance of professional musicians. On the final day parents can come and see them perform for the first time on their instruments!

Fees: One-week camp | $275 (and $250 if paid by May 1)
Two-week camp | $525 (and $495 if paid by May 1)

After camp private instruction is also offered on piano, violin, cello, voice, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and drums.  Lessons are available for all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced students.
