It's a place to call home

The Bookstore in the Grove is a living, breathing thing. You know that, right? It's about the people. The community.

I took this video yesterday at lunch time. The place was packed as it usually is for lunch. All walks of life are here - it's a microcosim of our society. There's a construction worker, there are school kids, mothers and office workers. It's a hangout, a place to eat, a place to think, a place to read, to get coffee. It holds book readings and book clubs and open mic night and parties and meetings. It's everything.

We're hoping someone or some entity steps up and saves this Grove institution. It's only 10 years old, but it seems like it's been part of the community forever. Closing day is looming.
