Coconut Grove's Veteran's Day parade and celebration is Friday, November 11 at 10 am. It's a free event presented by American Legion Post 182 and Commissioner Ken Russell's office.
This 19th annual celebration will honor Dr. David White, who recently passed away.
The parade starts at the Coconut Grove Playhouse parking lot at 3500 Main Highway, goes up Commodore Plaza, turns onto Grand Avenue and up to Douglas Road, turns onto Percival Avenue and ends at Elizabeth Virrick Park where there will be ceremonies and refreshments.
