Few things knock us off balance as much as our relationships -or the lack thereof. Many people get caught in patterns of attracting the wrong partners or unavailable ones, whether geographically, because they are already with someone else or simply are unavailable emotionally.
Author, speaker, retreat facilitator and relationships expert Christian de la Huerta moved back to South Florida a few years ago, after being based for 20 in the San Francisco Bay Area. While he travels extensively all over the world, he now offers workshops and retreats here in Coconut Grove, near Kennedy Park, at a venue that features a heart-shaped labyrinth.
“Christian’s work is very personal, very deep and without limits,” said Dulce, a local chef who recently attended a retreat on women's empowerment. "Imagine what the world would be like if we all saw each other through the eyes of compassion and love, with no judgment, no ego....that's how I felt over the weekend retreat, and I want to live in that world! I was reminded that every change has to start with me. I left inspired, energized and ignited to spread the love to everyone around me, including myself. The weekend was life changing!”
“Most of us struggle with relationships," said de la Huerta, "and they can be a source of great pain and frustration. If we learn how to approach them in the right way, however, they can be effective vehicles for our own growth and transformation and can help us find deeper levels of personal fulfillment and self-satisfaction."
The next weekend retreat focused on relationships takes place in the Grove May 14-17. For more information, contact info@soulpower.com or 887- 773-7557.
