On the heels of their Noche Buena pig (in April) and their Beverly Hillbillies-style BBQ night, the Bookstore had a Greek night on Saturday with a lamb on a spit, out on the old Sanford and Son truck.
It was interesting to see so many of the Breakfast Club regulars who were there for an early breakfast and then came back at night for dinner like Peter Roth with his granddaughter and Wendy Feldelman.
Here, Jason is preparing the lamb for cooking.
Alas, there was no Greek dancing or plate breaking, or at least napkin throwing like they do at Taverna Opa.
I told Jason they should call Saturday night dinners, "The Thing," or "The Saturday Thing," since each week it's something else for a dinner special and theme.
